点评:My husband and I went to this 'sanctuary' as part of our Tour package and we were looking forward to seeing the giraffes and zebras. We didn't know there would be anything else.
If it had just been the giraffes, zebras and deer, then the experience would have been good, but we went to this other section of the 'sanctuary' and we saw various caged animals.
The most heartbreaking was seeing seven crocodiles, each in their own tiny concrete cells, with hardly any water in their tiny concrete pond, and the water was very dirty.
One of the crocodiles is large enough that it can barely turn around!
There were birds, monkeys, and a snake that was also poorly cared for.
But my main concern was for the crocodiles.
It ruined my trip.
I have been home for 1 month now, and I still think about them.
I have reached out to the sanctuary and offered our assistance in fundraising here in Australia, money to get these crocodiles rehomed, or an improvement in their current conditions, but I have not heard back.
