点评：We booked a spa day for a friend’s hen do and were left extremely disappointed. For the £85 we each paid, we expected a far more relaxing and luxurious experience. While the massage itself was decent, the rest of the day fell well below expectations.
Our complimentary glass of prosecco was served in wine glasses—not flutes—in the leisure centre café, which felt more like a public canteen than a tranquil spa setting. It completely lacked the atmosphere you’d expect from a spa day.
The swimming pool was divided into lanes for swimmers, making it feel more like a gym than a place to unwind. There was no opportunity to relax in the water together as a group, which was especially disheartening given this was meant to be a special day for our bride-to-be.
In the end, we left early and didn’t even bother using the rest of the facilities. So we essentially paid £85 for a massage and a glass of prosecco. We feel really let down and would not recommend this to anyone looking for a proper spa experience.
