Great vibe, beautiful buildings and right on the water

点评：We stayed in Nyhavn on a short trip to Copenhagen and loved the vibe and the area. It’s pretty busy with lots of people around all day with lots of outdoor cafe/restaurants to choose from. Someone had recommended not eating here because of the prices but we found them to be about the same as elsewhere. The food looked good and you could enjoy a cocktail people watching and sitting by the water so we’d recommend it for dinner/drinks.
However, we would not recommend staying in this area unless you stay up late and get up early. The noise in the evening is pretty loud and starts pretty early in the morning with bottle pick ups and deliveries. With no air conditioning in the building you need to sleep with your windows open and it was just too disruptive to our sleep. It’s a shame because we stayed in a cute sailors apartment but I would stay a few blocks away next time.
