Tims Ford State Park的点评
点评：The golf course needs some TLC, one bunker was signed under repair. The park itself was worth going to to hike. Be are the closer you get to the park the more deer you will see lackadaisically crossing the street. There ar several hiking trails. The one to the two suspension bridge that passes the old truck wedged in a tree is nice. The trail is uneven and slick in parts but worth the trek. We looped around and up behind the nature center. It was closed by the time we arrived, but there was an owl and red tail hawk with was neat. There were several other pens with informational pads in front, but they were all empty. The gift shop had some super cute items especially a bee with crystal wings and a little honey comb that was only $5! Part of the money went to pollinators. Other items were pricy, normal $$$ things you will find in gift shops. Overall, it was a good day, we were there for a kids golf tournament. We plan on returning as there is a marina and looked like boat rentals. There 2as a great Air BnB nearby we will be returning to explore more! There is no decent restaurants and the golf shop has a little snack bar, but on a cold and raining day for the kids no hot chocolate. So we didn’t try anything else. They could do so much more in this area. The golf shop had little to offer.
