Great state park with three waterfalls and a nice trail to view them. Great swimming area for summer visits

点评：Burgess Falls State Park was beautiful and pretty accessable. The trails leading to the three waterfalls are easy to moderate and very well maintained, a good option for families or casual hikers. Each fall has a nice viewpoint and Burgess itself has an overlook and an area you can walk down to the TOP of the falls. You can’t access the bottom of the main falls from inside the park, which might be disappointing if you're hoping for a closer view. To do that you must rent a kayak from one of the guides out of the park or bring your own and paddle upriver.
One of our favorite parts was the swimming area near the main parking lot. It’s a perfect spot to cool off and enjoy the rapids expect a a lot of kids but that's fine it's a big area. The park and trails are also dog friendly.
