点评:As a long-time fan of the "Polar Express" Christmas train experience, I am saddened to report that this annual tradition is no longer a part of many Utah family's holiday tradition, our own family included. What was once a reasonable, enjoyable experience has devolved into an over-priced, underwhelming experience that seems more like a money-grab than a genuine experience. The trains are getting run down, the "hot" chocolate is brown water, the "performers seem so burned out they are just speed rambling their lines, and it is more of a cattle herding experience than it is an attempt to deliver the experience they were once so well known for.
I don't post this to be unkind, but rather to accomplish a couple of other objectives:
1. Warn families it isn't what it used to be, and is now as over-priced as a Disney ticket.
2. A wakeup call to the management team of the Heber Train that you can't simply phone this in each year, and assume that no matter how much you raise prices and how little you provide, guests will always be okay with it. Check Facebook comments from those who have gone this year. The rising sound of disappointment is unavoidable.
Bottom line- do better. Like you once did.
