托莱多动物园的点评
点评：I came here on a Saturday with my Mom at 10 am when they opened, and left at 1PM. It was very crowded, of course, but we were able to move around it get close to the habitats.
We know we wouldn't get to see everything in the time we had, so we stuck to seeing the animal exhibits. (We didn't tour the Ziems Conservatory or the Promedica Museum of Natural History.) We saw most the the animal habitats. However, we were disappointed, because a lot of the animals weren't out to see. I did enjoy the aquarium. I got to see some animals I haven't seen before, in person.
We were, also, disappointed in the food options. We were going to each lunch while we were here, but ended up being unable to. There weren't many food stands, especially, in the larger portion of the zoo south of Anthony Wayne Trail, to get a meal. We eventually ended up each getting a snack, which was a pretzel. We both agreed the pretzels wasn't good, and we both didn't finish them, and threw them away.
The do rent scooters out for those who need help getting around. My mother rented one, and I was surprised at the amount of space she had to walk before getting one. Most zoos we've been too, but much closer to the entrance. (We entered from the parking lot on Hippo Way.)
