Great zoo with very nice exhibits

点评：I loved this zoo! It was a very nice size, adequate food and drink (although the cafe service was a little slow), and the animal habitats were top-notch. I’ve been to many zoos, and this has to be one of my favorites. It’s obvious they get funding from large corporations and use that support to provide quality habitats and exhibits for their animals. Not a lot of zoos have tapirs so that was a nice surprise, but by far my favorite was the grizzly bear and the harbor seals. How many times do you get to see a harbor seal or a brown bear in the Midwest? I am so glad we decided to stop in Milwaukee on our way to Michigan’s upper peninsula. It looked like the wildfire smoke cleared out just in time for our visit too, and the temperature was perfect, so the animals were out, and we got to see everything.
