点评：Well, Caño Island is not the maldives… Some sparse corals on rocks, sufficient to host a range of colourful fishes including two small reef sharks. We also saw several turtels. On our visit, visibility was average. So, alltogether, a decent snorkeling experience, but definetly not among our best snorkeling tours. We were the only snorkelers on board, tagging along with divers, but were offered an own dedicated snorkeling guide. We preferred this over some other „snorkeling only“ tours we saw at Cano Island, which dropped of larger crowds of up to approx. 20 people at once. Also these tours mostly include additional stops at another beach, which seemed unneccessary to us. Tours are not cheap, especially for a family - so you might consider investing the money in other activities, if you have - like us - made abundant good snorkeling experiences elsewhere. If not, and if seeing turtles is on your wish list, a trip to Caño island might be a worthy trip for you.
