点评：This was my second visit to Ste. Anne’s, the first in 2 years and I had opted for the day spa option as they were fully booked for their rooms and wow HUGE LET DOWN. It was very expensive, almost as much as I paid for a stay last time around and everything has gotten worse. The last time I went the property felt filled with effort, passion and caring in every detail. Truly it was an amazing experience worth every penny. Now? Not so much. The facilitates are not being maintained, broken lockers, peeling paint, broken down saunas. Before everything was spotless, now you see messes everywhere, and no one is quick to clean them up. The crowd is definitely worse (TikTok effect), loud in quiet areas and no one around to ask them to respect the posted rules. They are letting in more people than before so everything is crowded and they aren’t increasing staff enough to make up for it. It felt like a labor of love before, it feels corporate now and they have ruined what was a gem. The biggest let down was the food!!! Before every dish I had put to shame every Michelin starred whatever I’ve been too. I was fine paying the high price for the day spa option because I considered it paying for a fancy meal with a spa as an add on almost. NOT the case now, the food wasn’t just disappointing it was BAD. Really put a hamper on my SO’s birthday celebration. I’m very sad to see the state of ste Anne’s today. They get 2 stars purely because the massages we had were great. Another issue there is that they never asked for a preference for the gender of the masseuses. My SO is not comfortable with a male message therapist and had to wait for a female one to be available. They had taken me in ahead of her and given me a female masseuse, if they had just asked our preference before hand I would have been fine taking the male masseuse and we wouldn’t have had to take our massages apart.
