If you're in Aberdeen and you want to see where a Rock Legend comes from...
Kurt Cobain Memorial Park的点评
点评:I think The Park's style and collective artistry is one that is consistent with the era. There is indeed a very large presence of Kurt still there. You can feel it. We enjoyed the artwork and overall atmosphere. We are unsure as to how that be misconstrued as "trashy" or something to be "afraid of." It's a Grunge Park. What do you expect. Also, have you seen the clothes Kurt wore? Have you listened to their music? Have you read the lyrics? What some refer to as "defacing" others call art and we were there with other parties, no one was afraid or otherwise. I believe it is how Kurt would have wanted it. It is also NOT Beverly Hills and never will be. It is Aberdeen, Washington. COME AS YOU ARE and if you don't like it, leave. We enjoyed it. We thought it was interesting and it was. To sit where Kurt did when he was younger and to try and picture what perhaps he was going through and what his life was like back then. His former house, now turned museum, is just down the block. Check out both but call ahead for hours at the museum. Perhaps others would enjoy the visit if they took a little more time to spend in the community and to pick up on the vibe. Perspective is a good thing.
