Great setup! Better stones!

点评：3 of us attended. We paid to do a double load (we sifted until we had twelve 5 gallon buckets of gravel) and then ran them through the machinery. It was a 97oF day, so we only sorted 1/2 the gravel, and took the rest home in 2 bags to look through later. In the half that we looked through at the mine itself, we found 2 that were over 5ct, including 1 beautiful specimen that could cut out at 2ct and 4 others over 2ct. In addition, we found a few garnets, fossils and agates.
I can't say enough about the support and staff. They are great people! Amazing and helpful. We got a tour of the commercial side that was very informative. After we sort the other bags, we will be sending the best back to them for cutting over the winter (when the mine is closed). Their cutting work is great and seems reasonably priced compared to some other options.
Not to throw stones at other places (so I won't name them) but several years ago, we got a giant bag of gravel from another place in Montana that had nothing like the 6 best stones we got here - and we got to experience more of the whole process, which was definitely worth it.
