点评：When I arrived at the museum, I was greeted by one of Logan's amazing sculptures: 'The Red Biba Rose'. This iconic piece was once displayed in The Biba department store, London,Kensington. But unfortunately had to be removed due to half of the store being sold to another UK fashion company.the The Biba Rose is made of fibre glass and had to be restored in 2022.
Nothing can quite prepare you for the bizarre fantastical wonderland that is The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture. The atmosphere of this museum is calm and peaceful and Logan's art never fails to impress. The art is unique, alternative and different, it is unlike anything you will see anywhere else. Its style and creativity is always recognisable.
The staff at the museum helpful and and always joyful, it is evident that they love working at the museum. It is really fantastic that entry to the museum is £5.00 Adults (including seniors)
£3.00 Children, students (with student ID)
£12.00 Family (max 2 adults & up to 4 children) (which is very reasonably priced), includes an informative guided tour. It's not a large museum, but there is a lot to take in so allow 2 hours to look around and really get the most out of the experience.
One of my favourite pieces of Andrew Logan art has to be the fried egg brooch that was modeled back in july* on one of his events that I also participated in. I also liked the cosmic egg that is displaced in the middle of the establishment.
The museum gives the chance to see costumes from the notary Alternative Miss World shows of years passed.
You'll see everything from a childhood painting of Andrew Logan through to jewellery, sculptures and I even got to sit on a thrown and be crowned.
