点评:We did a self-guided tour to Santiago and the waterfall. Because it was June, the waterfall was not as robust as it would be later in the year. It was lovely once we got there, but I'm not sure the journey was really worth it. We spent at least 45 minutes driving on dusty, bumpy, and desolate roads. Thank goodness we didn't have any car troubles. The walk down to the waterfall is short but very very steep. It is not for anyone with mobility issues or fear of heights. There are little fish in the water that nip at your feet. Someone said that it is the same fish they use for the pedicures, but I did not verify that. Either way, I didn't like that. If you decide to make the trek without a guide, be sure to download directions in advance because there is no cell service and no road signs. Pack plenty of water because it is hot with no shade. Wear good shoes because the hike is steep and rocky.
