点评：Our family of five (mom, dad, adult daughter, adult son and his girlfriend) decided to take this tour after we arrived in Hyannis. We booked first class tickets for the excursion car (no meal). The customer service, from the depot office to the conductors to the snack bar attendant, were friendly. Our seats were fine and the train car was clean. The downsides for us were: trip is one way, so you travel over an hour and then make the same return trip on the tracks seeing all the same sights you just saw. Most of the trip is wooded so you can only see trees on both sides of the train tracks. We did see an Osprey nest, dried cranberry bog fields, a pig farm and the Caps Cod canal. Those are all things you could also see by taking a drive along the coast. If you are looking for a way to kill 2.5 hours in a cool setting, take the trip. But don’t take it if you truly looking for a lot of sightseeing. Our family wondered if the sights or the experience might have been different if we were in a dining car or having a meal as part of the tour.
