Chalet need to be updated, Elephants galore, one of the better parks in SA

点评：We arrived on one of the hottest days of the year - at least 40 deg C and as far as I knew, we were in a chalet with no aircon. When we got into our chalet, lo and behold, an aircon. Thank heavens for that. That was a bonus. However, the chalet we were in is tired and in need of a BIG upgrade.The doors were hanging with a hope and a prayer and the whole chalet was in need of a paint. The other thing that irked us was the fact that the bush off the deck was VERY thick and our view was blocked. The staff were not that friendly which is a pity. We complained several times that our TV was not working and only on the second night (at around 8:30 pm) did someone come to look at the problem and eventually took the decoder away. The park itself was very pleasant and we saw some good sightings including being in the middle of a herd of Elephants which were thankfully, very "rustig" and we were able to observe them and their babies with no issues. Saw a Lion as well before it disappeared into the bush. All in all, one of my favourite parks in SA. Next time, we will book the new chalets being built. They look very nice indeed.
