点评：Generally I was very impressed by what I found. The site is small, with no shop, restaurant or other facilities, that said what was provided was excellant. The Lakeview tent I took was perfect. Overlooking the lake, with mains electricity, fridge freezer, powerful reading lights and two large, comfortable single beds with plenty of warm blankets for those cold nights. Reclining chairs, table and braai provided and the whole pitch completely secluded from the other visitors. There are only four of these tents.
The communal kitchen was the best I have found, after visiting numerous National Parks nationwide. Powerful dual stove top electric plates, microwave and in my own lockable cabinet a full range of crockery and cutlery, plus a toaster.
The ablutions were kept clean with piping hot water. With all facilities just a few paces from my tent, no hardship at all.
Booking is essential and well worth a visit, especially with the Valley of Desolation just twenty minutes drive and the lovely Town of Graaf Reinet only five minutes away.
