Stapleford Park Spa & Club的点评
点评：Slightly disappointing with our visit here. For an expensive and supposedly up market venue it fell short in a few areas.
Firstly I must say that the Spa did deliver on what they promised, so full marks to them, although it was some distance from the hotel itself.
It was the hotel itself that I felt did not deliver everything one would expect from them.
The rooms were functional but lacking in certain amenities, such as a fridge, instructions for the coffee machine, plus none of the usual information on the hotel or things to visit locally.
On check out no one asked if we had had a nice time, only when we visited the spa to purchase some products were we asked about how our stay was. However in general the staff were very nice and helpful.
The location is excellent with lovely views, however the trek to the room did involve going up & down a number of staircases without any porters offered by the hotel. So carrying luggage was not easy, especially as there are no lifts in this obviously listed building.
Considering the one night stay with dinner, breakfast and drinks plus the cost of spa treatment & products was in excess of £600, I do not feel that we got value for money.
It is unlikely that we will return for another visit anytime soon.
