Disappointed by the company we traveled with, bio bay was ok.

点评：I don’t like to leave poor reviews, but I was truly disappointed with my glowing bay adventure experience with the Island Kayaking adventure group. We could not see the bioluminescence very well because the moon was bright, and that was not the fault of the company. They had us gather under tarps in a line to try and make it darker. This worked a little and you could see what looked like sparks in the water. The kayaks had to stay very close together and it was very hard to hold the tarp up while pushing away the kayaks next to you and also splashing the water to see the sparkles. I will say it looks nothing like the advertisements online. This was not the biggest issue though. The company said the tour would last 90-120 minutes. That would have been great because the night time kayaking was fun. Instead, the guides rushed us through really quickly and we were only in the bay 15 minutes. The entire experience lasted 45 minutes. It felt like the guides just wanted to get back early. All the other tour groups were still out there when we had to leave. Then at the end they asked us all for tips and a five star review. I just couldn’t do it. Maybe it’s better with a different company, and maybe skip it if you’re close to a full moon.
