点评:The Norfolk broads is a holiday experience that you either love or hate. We love it and have been many times. Previous reviewers state there s nothing but reeds in between moorings. Without the reeds there would be no thatched buildings. The reeds are a big part of the broads. It's a bit like saying that if you're in woodlands there's nothing but trees. The broads are rivers interconnecting to some very pretty villages. A few pubs along the way and plenty of walks.
The downside for us is we're getting older and struggled with the boat more than on previous years. Also the sheer rudeness of some anglers who spoilt it for us at several moorings. Add to that the yachts that overtook us to prevent us from mooring when we really needed supplies. It was becoming frustrating at every mooring. Which took away the enjoyment of previous years.
Will we go again, yes but probably not for a few years and probably in a riverside cottage not a boat. It is expensive but it's always been expensive. Pretty much the same with narrow boating there is a cost to maintaining and building boats.
