The ceramics were shockingly low quality—uneven glazing, chipped edges, and designs that looked mass-produced despite being marketed as “handmade.” Prices were astronomical, easily triple what you’d pay elsewhere for far better craftsmanship. When I questioned the cost, the staff became pushy and dismissive, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. It’s a classic tourist scam, designed to exploit visitors with no transparency about the kickbacks the guides likely receive. I left empty-handed, feeling cheated and frustrated. Save your money and skip this place—explore local markets instead for authentic, reasonably priced ceramics. This shop is a blatant cash grab that tarnishes the charm of Cappadocia.
