polyglot museum complex - really a 3.5 = good

点评：This site is actually several 'museums' in one. The main attraction being the psychiatric museum but also a smattering of history, geology, sociology and even pop culture. Much of the latter sections are a kind of grandma's attic combined with school kids introductory affair - the local community is trying hard here ("we're known for our museums") but the probable funding limitations of a basically small community do show. The Gore itself is interesting. Less technical and scientific than some others of its kind (thinking Akron here), it nevertheless abounds in artifacts and for that is actually more interesting. You can see everything in the complex in 2 hours, taking time to read along the way. The various connected history museums are a pretty fast swing through. NOTE: if you go to the Wyeth Tootle Mansion first, that ticket gets you in here free (and it's cheaper at $10). So really, that's a bargain for time spent.
