Staff to public ratio - unsafe. Not well managed
Mead Open Farm的点评
点评：It’s Feb half term and needed a day out for kids. Yes it was freezing and Mead open farm can’t be held responsible for that. We got there and it was packed. Our visit was 18th Feb. We first went and saw the lambs, as lambing week. Yes there are two barns full of baby lambs (was very cute).
Then everything else went downhill from there. Went to go on sky trail and queue was crazy. We stood in freezing wind for like 20minutes waiting our turn to be harness. Finally got up on the equipment the staff had said only one person on each section. No kids listening, 8 kids all on one rope and everyone stuck and not listened. (Have to say the three young staff members very friendly and considering it was so cold, kept going).
Then soft play, was absolutely awful. I get it was cold so everyone went to get shelter but did not see one staff member inside there. Kids were feral it was so unsafe. Kids everywhere crying as been hurt, too many kids in one building the ratio would not of been safe. The slides kids were chucking themselves down, fighting and just no one was around to manage it. It was hell and all parents said the same. Such a shame as my kids love soft play but could see it ending in tears so couldn’t go in. The place was dirty. The shelter for lunch by lamb barn was absolutely filthy. The soap to wash your hands in demo barn had run out. Staff didn’t help kids on shaggy raceway he just stood ignored all the kids struggling. In end a grandad went up and was helping all kids while the staff member stood on his phone. We couldn’t believe it.
There was no animals put out on the demo barn all day. So no animal interaction. And the craft barn you can’t call it that. A couple of sheets of colouring on a table and crayons all broken, no kids are going to sit and be excited for that.
Wouldn’t return, expensive and not managed well at all.

然后是室内游乐场，简直糟透了。我知道天气冷，大家都想找个地方避寒，但我没看到里面有工作人员。孩子们像野孩子一样，太不安全了。到处都是哭闹的孩子，好像受伤了似的。一个室内空间里孩子太多了，根本不符合安全标准。孩子们在滑梯上胡乱滑来滑去，打闹嬉戏，却没有人管。简直是人间地狱，所有家长都这么说。真是太可惜了，我的孩子们很喜欢室内游乐场，但眼看着他们最后肯定会哭，所以没敢进去。那里很脏。羊圈旁边的午餐棚脏得一塌糊涂。演示谷仓里的洗手皂都用完了。工作人员在毛茸茸的跑道上对挣扎的孩子们视而不见，根本不理会。最后，一位爷爷走过来帮孩子们，而那个工作人员却在那儿玩手机。我们简直不敢相信。
演示谷仓里一整天都没有动物。所以根本没法和动物互动。至于手工谷仓，根本不能叫手工谷仓。桌子上只有几张涂色纸和几支断掉的蜡笔，没有哪个孩子会对这些感兴趣。
不会再来了，价格贵，管理也很差。
