点评：Gorgeous views at the top of Lake Memphremagog. If you do this hike, be prepared for a steep elevation change in a short period of time. Be careful of the trail, which by the way is very clearly marked, especially after a rain or even a morning dew. We were told it may take up to four hours depending on skill level and traffic on the trail. None of us who did this hike are experienced hikers by any measurement. We were up and back in less than two hours, and that was spending about twenty minutes at the top. We were literally the only ones on the trail, as we arrived at 6:30 in the morning. Walking sticks are available if you so choose by the trailhead just away from the parking lot. There are several trails but we couldn't find the one we wanted originally. We seemed to find the lookout in any case on the trail we took. Wear durable shoes and make sure to bring a hat and bug spray. I like that the trail is pretty much completely covered by the canopy of the trees. As this is a winter ski resort, you will see signs for black diamonds and other ski trails. Totally worth the effort and the views at the top are just amazing. Wild flowers everywhere and the view...THE VIEW is spectacular. I highly recommend this experience but be prepared for a challenging hike. And when you're done and back at the car, you'll say, "That was tough, but I'm so glad I did it." Plenty of free parking and easy access to the trailhead. Be sure to take plenty of pictures along the way. This is an unforgettable experience.
