点评：We are members, so go every few months on nice days when we know it won't be too busy. With a dozen 'world-class' displays, any of which would be a major draw in a regular zoo, there is frankly not enough time in a full day to do justice to all of it. Based on weather, we select our favorites. Frankly, the Lied Jungle is simply awe-inspiring Wandering through the beauty with animals all about and even flying overhead. When they feed the hundreds of bats each afternoon, it is just amazing (if you like bats!). Be prepared to hike long distances but don't miss the new Orangutan habitat or the redesigned Gorilla areas. The elephants, with five young ones born in the past two years, are a huge draw, as is the sea lions. Yes, it is a hefty ticket to take the whole family, but when I meet folks from other states, they are always in amazement of the place.
