Pink Sands Beach for Cruisers

点评：I honestly can’t rate Eleuthera Tours highly enough. If you want to get away from the crowds and see some authentic beauty, then get in touch with Kristel and Donald.
We visited Princess Cays with our Carnival Cruise. Kristel picked us up in her car from port and took us to Pink Sands Beach. En route, we stopped at a few places of interest and natural beauty - giving some fabulous photo opportunities. Although you will see some rubbish washed in from boats and ships, it is collected right back near the edge of the shore and the beaches remain perfect.
Pink Sands Beach is breathtaking and we were the only people on it. It was a privilege to be there and nature at it’s finest. Kristel set up an umbrella and chairs. She gave us water, lemonade and yummy rum punch and asked us when we would like to be collected. She entirely flexible and wanted us to have the best time, which we did.
I would suggest you check tender times with your cruise line and make sure you book a time the day before. We discovered that Carnival won’t let you on the first tender unless you have booked an excursion. We managed to get a place on a 10.30 tender after pleading with guest services - but I think we were lucky.
You will need to book directly with Kristel and Donald. I’m in the UK and did this by e-mail and paid a $50 deposit by PayPal. I paid the balance in US dollars on the day. I would have paid twice the amount and gave $100 tip.
You will miss out if you don’t do this trip. If you’re lucky, you will also be the only ones on the beach. For us, it was a once in a lifetime experience.
