点评:While the venue is no doubt beautiful, that was secondary to the reason we were there.
We took my mother-in-law there for a birthday celebration. I’d seen the marketing add on facebook and was impressed enough to book it for tea. Only realizing after that it was a Bridgerton tea, which at the end of the day makes no difference to me. It was not the tea experience I expected, nor hoped for.
We were given a large pot of hot water and told there was a selection of teas on a table that we could choose from. Nothing like choosing from two small boxes while someone is waiting for you to decide. Unlike other tea rooms where you’re given a menu with descriptions, and then given an individual pot of your requested tea.
The food was uninspired. Best guess is everything was picked up from Publix. The only kudos I feel I could give would be for the cream. It was actually real cream and not Cool Whip.
It’s a few days after the experience and I am no less unimpressed. I feel we were duped by marketing, to which most of the cost must have gone to, because it certainly wasn’t to the quality of the fare.
