Nice little museum next to the airport

点评：We went as it's close by. It is probably worth a reasonable trip to see, especially if older planes interest you. There are some big exhibits, A vulcan, parts of large planes that you can enter and talk to volunteers about. There is a basic cafe with a few aviation related bits and bobs and a hanger full of a variety of engines. We nearly missed a couple of the plane you can go in, but we waited until they re-opened and they were well worth it, e.g. the Nimrod which I found especially interesting. Hopefully these will be available when you visit! We were a bit taken aback by the way one of the volunteers talked to my partner who had started up some steps without being told to haivng missed the sign, but I guess some people do get passionate about things! My partner's eyesight is not great and obviously she's not keen on announcing this to people. This was balanced by the rest who were friendly and well informed.
Well worth the visit and having planes coming and going at EMA as you go round is also an added bonus.
