Dinosaur Park - I an predict a return visit.

点评：This was my favorite activity of our brief 3 night trip to Rapid City for a funeral.
The path is steep if you take the stairs, but this is wheel chair friendly, but you would want someone to push you up the hill. I think it is too steep to wheelchair yourself up the hill. We were there about 2 hours. Got to see some great statues of dinosaurs. Each dino had signage to give you details about the dino and it was interesting to read. The view of Rapid City from on top of that hill was amazing. I wish the VC was open but it was a Sunday and off season. This was free to attend. Kids were climbing on the dinos.
Along the path, there are many places to sit and relax and enjoy the view or just rest before continuing up the hill. There are picknick tables part way up the hill. And there are 2 more dinos down at the VC (Visitor Center).
On your way up the hill, stop at the overlook. Very pretty.
I totally enjoyed the visit, the walk, the dinos, reading about them, photographing them. I took 116 photos of this park starting at the Dinosaur Park sign at the base of the hill, until we got back into the car after visiting the VC. I didn't include the photos I took while at the Overlook. That was an additional 25 photos. 11:14am to 1pm from arrival at the overlook to leaving.
Please note, there are no bathrooms to use when the VC is closed. No bathrooms up on Dinosaur Park hill either.
I highly recommend visiting this park. It would give the kids something fun to do to check out the dinos, and you can read the signs to them with all the data about each dino, and just have a couple fun hours together. There's plenty of parking at the VC.
When we make another trip to Rapid City, I definitely want to take this walk again.
