Lovely place . Finished by an uncomfortable reception in Cafe

点评：Stopped past Lowther Castle for a family visit today after a weekend away .We arrived at 10am and found that the castle has introduced a parking fee recently of two pounds which is only a small amount so didn't worry us apart from the machine being out of order so we paid at the café.We had a lovely visit and the staff on the ticket desk gave us some tips and advice and we're very kind with the for children age 7 and under which was lovely commenting on their gift choices .We then proceeded to the cafe to buy drinks and food and lunch boxes for the children . While we were choosing the children's lunch boxes one of the staff members asked my daughter if she would move to a smaller table we had sat on two tables of four to make 8 although 9 of us My daughter was made to feel uncomfortable about our table choice and then felt uncomfortable eating there so as we had promised the children snack lunch boxes just purchased them and drinks for the adults.Apologised and said we wouldn't stay long. We then felt we didn't want to order anything else moved the children along quickly and left.Not really the best way to end what should have been a good day out .
