Final bliss amongst total chaos!!
Kamakhya Temple的点评
点评：I am going to be as elaborate as I can since there isn’t a lot of information on the same..
Booked the VIP visit online for Rs 500/- each.
Left our hotel at 5.30am for the mandir and reached the ticket counter where they check your adhaar and the booking receipt and give you a ticket.
The counter opens at various timings and ours opened at 8.30am although we had an earlier timing mentioned.
The waiting area is pathetic and there is absolutely no organization and no one to monitor the crowd or give information..
People who came in much later charged forward when the counter opened..
There are skirmishes due to this, no proper seating and even the elderly have no seating..
One priest was making the rounds and eventually he took some people ahead of all of us, definitely for a price..
Once you get out from the place, you have to go to another waiting area after which they direct you to the lines for entry into the temple..
While I was there, I was told by another set of devotees that they had paid Rs 2000/- to the pandit to get an earlier entry..
The people in the general category were packed like sardines and some kept banging on the sides since the VIPs were getting precedence over the rest..
Finally we entered the mandir before entering the garbagriha where there is another idol of Ma Kamakhya which was made with 8 minerals or ashtadhatu..
After offering our offerings, we were directed down the garbagriha which had stone steps and was a dark descent down the steps but was not half as bad as the internet makes it sound..
The only problem here is that the pandits again were getting devotees who they had vested interests in, down the steps from where people had to exit , creating total chaos for people who were waiting patiently to go down in a line..
But here comes the twist personally for me..
After a harrowing 3 hours of waiting and the total chaos…. the moment I reached the Yoni… I bowed down to it but couldn’t touch the spring water and the pandit sitting there was so kind that he instructed me to touch the water and because I couldn’t bend down, he put some in my hand and also gave me a chunni from the yoni.
My life was made and to speak the truth,
the yoni felt absolutely magical!!! although it was covered with flowers and I couldn’t see the form but it most definitely emitted a very beautiful energy!!
We left the temple and again on coming out the pandits tried making money, but we were well versed by now..
The saddest part was that they still sacrifice goats in the temple complex which saddened me deeply as against them saying sacrifices are stopped!!
All in all my experience at the yoni was pure bliss and I know I had Ma Sati’s blessings today and forever!!

在经历了3个小时的漫长等待以及一片混乱之后……当我终于走到圣泉前时，我向它鞠躬致敬，却无法触碰到泉水。坐在那里的祭司非常善良，他指示我去触碰泉水；由于我弯不下腰，他便把一些水倒进我的手中，还从圣泉处给了我一块纱巾。
我的心愿就此实现了。说实话……那个女阴雕像简直神奇至极！！！虽然它被鲜花覆盖着，我看不清它的形状，但它确实散发出一种极其美好的能量！！
我们离开寺庙后，出来的时候那些祭司又试图敛财，不过此时我们已经对此驾轻就熟了……
