点评:Last year I spent the new year's eve in Paris, at Champs Elisee with my husband, it was extremely crowded but that's not even the main issue.
Btw: We couldn't move an inch!!!
After the fireworks and countdown we discovered that they've closed all Subway's stations and there were millions of people in the street wandering around trying to go home!!
The officers and train workers couldn't give any information on whether the metro lines would work again or not. Not a single information.
It was chaotic!!!!
My phone died so we couldn't even ask for an uber. There was no place to eat, go to the toilet, drink water.... nothing!!
We found 3 Brazilian people that were kind enough to share an uber with Us. We were staying in Boulogne Billancourt and luckily for us we had enough cash to pay for a very expensive uber at 2 pm from the crowded streets of Central Paris to our apartment so far away.
Anyways.... I felt like I was having a nightmare.
And during the many ours we've stayed at Champs waiting for the New year's countdown, I felt people touching my legs and parts, but since it was extremely crowded I wasn't able to discover who was touching me! My husband and I were furious, but there was no way of getting out of there!!!! It was impossible to leave!!!
Oh, and when the crowd was walking towards the subways to go home, I felt people touching me AGAIN, so then I understood that it was something that groups of young men do, as a joke (that only them laugh about, not the victim), when there are women around them in a crowd (defenceless). I remember screaming that me and my husband would kill the man if we discovered who was touching me and in response we saw a group of young man laughing on my side. It was probably them but I couldn't accuse them.
I would never spend my Christmas eve on Champs Elisee again.
Besides the new year's eve I really loved Champs Elisee!! Visiting Paris was my biggest dream and It was even better than I imagined - NOT THE NEW YEAR'S EVE!!! lol
