点评：My husband and I did a shared wine tour from Nice to Provence. Our tour guide Hélène was warm, welcoming and very friendly. There were a total of 8 people on the tour. We were touring in the midst of a heat wave in France. We were all taken in a van and drove about an hour out to begin the wine tours. The van only has air conditioning in the front row, so people in the 2nd and 3rd rows got very hot. During the first two vineyards, we would taste wine and then walk around the property. It’s not comfortable to walk around after having alcohol in the middle of very hot temperatures, but this was done at every vineyard we went to, up hills, stairs, and even once parking on the side of the road to look at Roman ruins. After the second wine tasting, we were given a cold lunch consisting of 3 pieces of meat (similar to salami/prosciutto), 3 pieces of cheese, a cold egg tart, salad and a cold tomato soup. This cost an extra 27euro. I would have preferred more variety or at least information about the planned lunch. It was clearly overpriced given the food served. I think it would’ve been better if the itinerary was adjusted due to the heat as it made the experience much more uncomfortable. Then we rode back in the hot van for an hour. It also would have been great to know how long the tour would be, as we left at 0930 and didn’t get back until 1830. Nine hours in the heat left us both quite exhausted and that was not how we planned on spending our last day in France.
