Great mountain visit, restaurant and walks

点评：We took the Gemmi Gondola up to the top of the mountain when visiting Leukerbad for one night and had a great time.
Firstly, the Gondola itself is very modern and sturdy (not always the case!). It travels quickly to the top of the peak and you get incredible views on the water up back down on Leukerbad and the surrounding peaks.
At the top, there is a hotel and spa (which is super reasonable to actually stay at) where we had a drink and lunch in their restaurant. Food was great and not too expensive (in Swiss terms anyway!). There is some incredible views from the restaurant and a large dedicated kids play area to play in too!
Finally at the top, we took the walk round Lake Daubensee. This is a beautiful walk which is about one hour round as an adult but about an hour and a half with children (aged 9 & 10). None of the walk was dangerous but there were some areas that were more challenging and over rocks / up steep hills. Well worth it though to paddle in the water on the North side of the lake and for the views as you go round.
Would 100% recommend to other visitors to the area.
