海克利尔城堡的点评
点评：I booked the Highclere Castle Downton abbey experience with a tour of the house and exhibition including afternoon cream tea and a signed book by the Countess of Carnarvon.
This was a birthday treat for my wife a massive Downton fan.
Well what can I say it was fabulous ( Including the beautiful weather we had 20th March )
The grounds were stunning and we relaxed with a complimentary cup of tea until our tour started.
The guided tour of the house was fantastic with a knowledgeable guide for about 1 1/2 hours looking at rooms on the ground floor and first floor bedrooms. Telling us about the filming and of the Carnarvon family.
The tour also included the Egyptian museum which was a treat.
Before our tea we actually met the Countess who was lovely and down to earth and fun.
The cream tea was very good and enjoyable.
Was it worth £140 each
I am going to say ABSOLUTELY when you consider the experience.
And to meet the Countess was a bonus.
