点评：Redwood can be a bit confusing because various parts of the park are national and others are state. No fees are charged in either, which is incredible. That being said, the trees are magnificent, and there are sooooo many great places to see them. Our two favorites were the Lady Bird Johnson Grove (parking is VERY limited) in the National Park, and the Avenue of the Giants, which is a 31 mile scenic drive in Humboldt County State Park. This scenic drive features many trails that provide fabulous opportunities to see the incredible redwood trees. We spent a full 8 hour day walking thru many of the groves of trees - most groves have flat paths or minor inclines, so very doable for most everyone. Walking into the groves almost feels like walking into a majestic cathedral - the silence is palpable, and you feel a sense of awe and reverence for these trees that have been standing watch so faithfully for literally thousands of years.
