St. Phillips Island Ferry的点评
点评：This was an awesome experience. We saw lots of dolphins and other wildlife before we even got to St. Phillip's Island.
I recommend going heavy on the bug repellant once on island. They have a trolley/trailer that they will drive you into the area where the Turner house and beach access are, or you can hike in. I recommend taking the trolley. I hiked in and was swarmed by mosquitos the entire way. I had hundreds, if not thousands, of insect bites. Trying to run away from them didn't help. I used Cutter insect repellant before leaving the dock and left it in my car. I don't know if other brands would have made a difference or not.
Having said all that, St. Phillip's exudes such a natural beauty and the beach there was so peaceful. The ferry boat captain was very knowledgeable about the areas plant and animal life and took the time to let us experience the beauty of the area.
Between the boat rides and trekking on the island, it was really like two adventures in one.
