点评：We did the Half Day Explore Hill Inlet with Explore Group. This was a replacement tour, as our Whitehaven tour was canceled and I'm so glad we did this.
Again, we traveled in the comfortable vessel, skippered by Rory.
The transfer from the main vessel to the island is via tender - professionally skippered by the capable and super nice -Lacey. Once landed, it was a 20 minute guided scenic bush walk to the lookout (boardwalk/gentle elevation), where our guide Gus , was happy to take photos of groups. The view from the lookout is nothing short of breathtaking and the only way to appreciate the splendour of Whitehaven and the area,
Depending how long you choose to spend at the lookouts - there are three in total- determines how long you get at the beach. This beach (looking across to Whitehaven) is spectacular.
Everyone then meets at the pre-determined meeting spot and is transferred back to the main vessel via tender.
My tip would be, try and get the first tender onto the island - to maximise your visit. There is ample time and this makes the most of your visit.
