点评：After watching the website’s video, I knew I had to experience the via Ferrata and zip line. Once I purchased the tickets, I started to worry about the negative reviews regarding fitness level. No, I am not physically fit and I’m slightly scared of heights but I wasn’t about to waste the money I had already spent.
After checking in, we were fitted with a harness and a helmet. (Definitely bring gloves or you can buy them there. ). You can store your backpack/ personal belongings in the office. We were given instructions and off we went to the self guided via ferrata.
I don’t have any experience rock climbing and I don’t typically lift weights but I had to rely on my upper body strength which was lacking. Overall, the via Ferrata was physically challenging for me, scary, but exhilarating. My arms and hands hurt like crazy as I held on for dear life but the feeling of accomplishment at the end was so amazing. The staff person was great and the scenery was breathtaking. Although I wanted to quit in the middle of climbing the via ferrata, this excursion ended being the highlight of my vacation.
