A course with a view and a good amount of challenge!

点评：OK, so it's no PGA course, but wow, is it idilic. Nigel is always genuinely welcoming, and the course is such a lovely place to play. This has fast become my favourite pastime. I'm sure Tiger Woods would have no issues here. However, for me, there's a very good level of challenge. Nice, long, hazard laden par 4's, not as easy as they look Par 3's and even a pond to play with your mind as you take your T shot into or over the water, or into the well established trees and shrubbery that promise to grab your errant ball, to keep for posterity.
This course is such a lovely place to be, good walks in beautiful surroundings, and if the weather is fine, it's just superb.
Squirrels, geese, ducks, and even a Buzzard I've regularly seen at this place, and that's without even looking.
Set aside the club house and the lack of amenities and for the bargain price you pay to play here, there really shouldn't be any complaints. If you're local, you'll make it your local, if you're from further afield, you'll come back more than once. We'll done Nigel & Sarah, you've worked wonders here, and it's just getting better.
