腾格里沙漠的点评
点评：The area offers various desert activities. We choose to do three of them: sand surfing, sand slide, and the zip line.
The sand surfing was super exciting. The truck was able to go up and down the dunes that look impossible to climb up. It was like a roller coaster but in the middle of the desert. It was quite the exhilarating experience.
The great thing about this area is you can slide down the sand dune on a sand slide unlimited number of times. In the nearby Shapotou, which is the more famous site, you can only slide down once. Here, you can slide down, hike back up, and do it all over again. We did it multiple times on both the steep big slop and the smaller slope. It was very fun.
The zip line was a bit underwhelming compared to the other ones I've been to in North America. It's quite slow and one of us actually got stuck in the middle and they had to pull us over.
Overall it was a lot of fun in the sand. Remember to bring plenty of water as there is no convenience store at the top of the sand dunes where the sand slide is. There is a small service area at the entrance.
