So SO lovely. Good wine and friendly staff

点评：Such a beautiful place. Brought here by a friend when visiting nearby Leesburg, VA. It’s a winery with a vineyard and beautiful scenery. There’s a small tasting bar and you can buy wine to just sit and drink.
You can sit inside or outside or a lovely deck with stairs down to a gorgeous brook and grass nearby the vineyard. On a sunny day - which we had - it was lovely.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and our tasting - $16 - was good. They were keen to sell their wine, and extol it’s virtues and governor’s medals and the wine is nice. Some is grown on the site but some blended from wines from other places in America. A few grapes I wasn’t familiar with and along with wooden aging barrels they also use concrete or steel!!
I recommend the rosé - very Moroccan.
A few of the whites were a little disappointing on the nose, and not anything out of the blue in terms of flavour but nice. They don’t send out of the UK but I’m not sure I’d buy bottles … but definitely visit to drink. Maybe would but if local but with French wine, German, SA and Australian wine so available here… I do like Californian wine and some was a blend.
The people doing the tasting were really nice but didn’t know so much about wine generally or anywhere else other than their vineyard.
Recommend this place - would go again. Really beautiful and I had no idea there were vineyards in VA!

The cafe also serves water, soft drinks, little eats such as breadsticks and charcuterie platters.
