点评:We visited Sa Roqueta in September with a child under two years old. It turned out to be a great way to spend time, even for such a young child. During the visit we had the opportunity to learn about the history of cheese production on the island and how the production process works in practice. Our guide led the whole event, switching fluently between Catalan, Spanish and English, so there were no communication problems. The main highlight was making the cheese ourselves. I thought it was a great family activity. The whole thing took about 30-40 minutes. In that time, everyone was able to learn the theory and practice of making regional cheeses by hand. For those who wish, there is the possibility to make a personalised cheese, which will be sent to a given address after the maturing process (extra charge, ours arrived in the second half of November 😊). The interaction with the animals is an added attraction. The children had a great time feeding the cows, calves and pigs. The whole experience ends with a tasting of local cheeses, cured meats and wine. Everything was of excellent quality. So was the quality of service, everyone was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
