点评:The color of this bay and its remote location were enticing. However, the hike there is *brutal* and most of the water is too murky to see much while snorkeling. There’s only a few fish, no coral, and no beach- just lava. If you aren’t really fit and have good balance, do not attempt this. Not for kids, either. The entire 1.4 mile trail is soft sand, small round pebbles, and raw chunks of lava that look like crumbled chocolate cake and move when you step on them. Your feet sink a few inches in the sand and rocks with every step. Wear socks & sneakers, not sandals or flip flops, and take *a lot* of water (at least 2 liters per person- we each had 64 oz and drank it all), and bring sunscreen, and hats. The plus is, it is quiet and you are nearly guaranteed to see sea turtles in and out of the water.
