点评：I thoroughly enjoyed Bewl Rookery's alpaca afternoon tea. Guests (of which I was one of eleven) sat outside under a marquee (except for those in the bamboo paca-pod). Mark first of all talks about the history and geology of the area, and then about alpacas, their breeding, character and personalities. Guests then get the chance to go into the fields with the alpacas, to feed them carrots and help shower them. After this, guests sit down to the most wonderful afternoon tea: mini tarts, delicate sandwiches, fresh scones and cakes, all made by Carol. Children get a special menu, which includes alpaca-shaped sandwiches and shortbread. On conclusion, guests can then interact, for as long as they like, with the cute alpacas. There is also the option to buy a variety of local goods. I highly recommend it for a fun, relaxing, different and excellent afternoon tea.
