点评：Some friends and I had a great afternoon at Bewl Rookery. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and personal. The experience began with a warm welcome and a bit of a history lesson of the land, the alpacas, and how Carol and Mark came to own them - including heartfelt stories of the ones they've sadly lost.
The alpacas aren't just there for entertainment - they're much loved pets and truly part of Carol and Mark's family. It was a privilege to share their world for a few hours and enjoy such a memorable experience on their beautiful grounds.
The afternoon tea was delicious, with ingredients grown right on their grounds - a lovely touch that made everything feel fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We were lucky to have had a lovely, warm sunny day. The whole experience was incredibly relaxed. The hosts are so warm and welcoming - we had a lovely conversation with them too.
Feeding and spending time with the alpacas was a highlight - they're gentle, calming, and truly lovely to be around.
