Fantastic time meeting the mini moos and trekking with sheep

点评：My Husband and I had 24 hours in the area and as I absolutely love animals, I dragged his poor, long suffering self to meet some lovely Dexter cows and the smallest breed of sheep in the world.
John was great - very friendly and approachable and went over all health and safety with us before meeting the cows. There was no pressure to go into their field if you didn't want to - however everyone in the group decided they wanted to.
We got to feed them, brush them and yes, cuddle them. They're mini in cow standard, but still have a lot of "junk in their trunk" so you'd do well to remember Johns wise words of now getting caught in a cow sandwich or allowing them to stand on your feet.
Whenever choosing an experience with animals, I'm always concerned as to whether they're being exploited for money. Thankfully this is 100% not the case with any of the animals - the cows were really happy to see us and stay with us - if they didn't want to be near us, they had a whole field to walk away - they weren't forced to do anything and looked in incredible condition.
Sheep trekking with Natalie was also absolutely brilliant. We had a lovely, non rushed time and poor Natalie was asked as many sheep questions as poor John was asked cow questions - she answered every single one and it's obvious that the sheep love walking - you didn't have to pull them, encourage them, they just happily had lead put on them and wandered around with us.
John and Natalie obviously have a love and respect for all their animals. We had a wonderful time and would recommend the experiences to anyone.
