Spacious, welcoming, and mission-driven — a solid stop in Southern Pines

点评：We had the chance to visit Hatchet Brewing while passing through Southern Pines and were glad we did. It’s a large indoor space — a definite plus on a hot day — and it’s dog-friendly inside, which we always appreciate. The vibe is relaxed and comfortable, with plenty of room for larger groups or anyone just looking to spread out a bit.
We ordered a flight to sample a variety of their beers. All were solid representations of their styles — nothing mind-blowing, but well-crafted. What stood out most to us, though, was the brewery’s strong connection to the veteran community. That mission adds meaning and character to the experience, and you can tell it matters to the people who run the place.
All in all, a welcoming spot with a purpose. Worth a visit, especially if you’re in town with friends, family, or four-legged companions.
