点评：It was definitely an "eye candy" experience to see the Lavender fields at Purple Hill Lavender Farm. I had no idea there were so many varieties of this gorgeous flower!
Great opportunity to take some fantastic pictures of the flower gardens, scenic landscapes of the Blue Mountain foothills and the Lavender fields. Just a word of caution: flower blooms attract tons of bees and wasps. You can hear an audible hum when you stand close to the Lavender plants! So monitor your pets and young children closely as it's very likely you could get stung by a bee, which happened to my friend on our recent visit to the farm. The farm management should make this very clear on the farm website!! People with bee and/or wasp sting allergies may want to rethink visiting this farm if they suffer from a life threatening reaction to insect stings.
Otherwise, it was a worthwhile experience! Bring your own liquid refreshments especially in hot weather, as there was no opportunity to purchase drinks on-site.
