Craigievar Castle的点评
点评：We knew that access to the castle was only by tour. I am sure there are good reasons for this.
As we are 77 and find stairs challenging, when we were informed the tour was an hour long and covered many levels we unfortunately decided to abort the idea. A shorter tour taking in less levels and the opportunity to pace ourselves would have been ideal. It was also disappointing to only have a kiosk for food.
We saw gardens mentioned on the pdf leaflet we downloaded but failed to find one. Maybe our poor map reading.
Toilets were modern however wet floors on a dry summer day were disappointing. It appeared this was due to the badly located hand dryers above the sinks. There were warning notices but clearly the public wasn't following the rules
From the outside the castle building is beautiful. The outlook is impressive and we enjoyed one of the walks.
